Welcome to my New Site!

Welcome to my revamped space! I’ve been wanting to transition to a site instead of a blog for a while now. I’ve been cutting back on blogging over the past several months to focus on other writing projects, work, and family. I love blogging, and I will continue to blog some, but I simply don’t have time for it all. You can most likely expect 2 to 3 posts per month.

I want this space to be more of an author page where I can keep a running list of my publications and occasionally interact with readers through the blog. I love the clean look and easy navigation! My friend Karla took the amazing pictures, which make the site pop! My “tech guy” Matt Cromwell answered a ton of questions about the Make theme as I was building the new site. It was a lot of trial and error, but I am enjoying the final product.

You might notice that I am branching out into public speaking as well. Though my time is somewhat limited, I hope to slowly begin to incorporate speaking engagements and/or readings into my repertoire of skills and experience.

On a related note, I recently got to participate in a December themed reading at The Porch Writers Collective here in Nashville! It was a great night and I got to meet a few local writers. I hope to get more involved with The Porch soon. They offer a ton of workshops and literary-related events.

This also is a great time to announce that I have finally gotten the officially official word that my essay, “Wrestling with God in the Arthouse Theater,” will be published in an anthology called Soul Bare, published by InterVarsity Press in 2016! I just got the cover art today:

Come in, look around, and enjoy the new site!
